About MKI

Founded in 1980, MKI is a product platform specializing in technical development and manufacturing. Their small team of seven works on everything from 3D printing and housings to circuit boards, transformers, coils and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs).

Finding a better way to manage information

As the team at MKI grew and their projects became more complex, they realized they needed a better way to keep track of all their important information.

The nature of their work means they're often split between the office and client sites, and they work closely with several partner companies. Since adopting Nuclino as their core quality management tool, every MKI employee has had a quality knowledge base right in their pocket. It's "easy to use, clearly structured and always available," says Philippe Wolters. Thorsten Elix, who oversees process management at MKI, has been particularly impressed with how Nuclino has helped document their workflows. "We can represent our processes in a simple way, and the support from the Nuclino team is outstanding."

Looking ahead, MKI plans to expand the use of Nuclino into other areas like marketing, HR and strategy. "It’s an extremely smooth platform that probably does more than we can imagine," continues Thorsten.

The team is also eager to explore Nuclino's integration capabilities with other tools, aiming to further streamline their operations and workflows.
